Porsche Rental Seattle: All 7 of Our Porsches, and Which to Pick

Porsche 911 GT3 RS rental in Seattle, the flagship of the Sport Driving Motors Porsche fleet

A Porsche rental in Seattle usually starts with one question: which one? We keep seven of them in Kent, from a $495 911 Carrera up to a $2,295 911 GT3 RS, and they are different cars rather than trim levels of the same idea.

This is the whole fleet in one place, with real rates, real mileage and an honest opinion on who each car actually suits. No car here is a bad choice. Several of them are the wrong choice for a given weekend, though, and that distinction is worth more to you than a brochure.

Which Porsche Rental in Seattle Should You Start With?

If you have never driven a Porsche, take the Carrera. That is not us steering you to the cheap one. The 911 Carrera is the most complete car on this list, it is comfortable enough to drive all day, and it teaches you what people mean when they talk about a 911 without shouting at you.

If you have driven a 911 and want something sharper, the 718 Cayman GT4 is the jump to make. Mid-engine, naturally aspirated, and the best-balanced chassis we own.

If you already know what a GT car is and you are here for that, skip to the GT3 or the GT3 RS. You will not be talked out of it, and you should not be.

The Porsche Rentals in Seattle You Could Drive Every Day

Porsche 911 Carrera

$495/day

200 miles included · $2.00 per extra mile · $500 refundable deposit

The one that started everything, and still the right first answer for most people. Rear-engine balance, a flat-six behind you, and a shape that gets recognized in every parking lot in the city.

It is fast enough to matter on Highway 2 and civilized enough to sit in I-5 traffic without wearing you out. Of everything we rent, this is the car people are most surprised by — they expect a challenge and get a brilliantly easy car instead.

Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

$595/day

200 miles included · $3.00 per extra mile · $500 refundable deposit

The Porsche you rent when there are four of you and actual luggage. Hybrid drivetrain, real Porsche pace, and room for a Sea-Tac pickup, a ski weekend at Crystal, or a week of Bellevue client meetings without anybody folded into a corner.

Nobody books this one for the drama. They book it because it is the only car on the list that solves a logistics problem and still gets a second look. Full Cayenne details and availability.

The Driver’s Cars

Porsche 718 Cayman GT4

$595/day

414 hp · 200 miles included · $2.50 per extra mile · $500 refundable deposit

The purist’s pick, and the best value in the fleet if what you want is to learn something about driving. Mid-engine, naturally aspirated flat-six, and a chassis that tells you everything.

Ours is not stock either — JCR exhaust, bucket seats, sound insulation removed. For a lot of people it lands exactly where the louder cars overshoot. It is also our most popular novice track clinic car, so you can drive it on the street or at Pacific Raceways.

Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS

$895/day

150 miles included · $5.00 per extra mile · $500 refundable deposit

Our wedding and special-occasion car, and it is not close. The Targa roof mechanism is theater by itself, the silhouette is timeless, and it photographs better than anything else we own.

All-wheel drive and GTS power mean it is quick rather than merely pretty. Summer weekends book out well ahead, so reach out early if you have a date in mind. Full Targa 4 GTS details and availability.

The GT Cars: Our Sharpest Porsche Rentals in Seattle

Three of them, which is more than the rest of the Seattle market has combined. These are not faster versions of the cars above. They are different machines built around a track and made legal for the road afterwards.

Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS

$895/day

493 hp · 9,000 rpm · 150 miles included · $1,000 refundable deposit

The GT3’s engine mounted in the middle of a smaller car. Porsche replaced the little triangular windows behind your head with air intakes, so the engine breathes about a foot from your ear. You do not listen to this car so much as wear it.

It is loud at every speed, including sixty on the freeway with the cruise set. Thrilling for an hour, tiring for four — which is the whole argument in our GT4 vs GT4 RS comparison.

Porsche 911 GT3

$995/day

502 hp · 0–60 in 3.2 sec · 100 miles included · $1,000 refundable deposit

One of the last naturally aspirated, 9,000 rpm road cars anybody will ever build, and the reason a lot of people book with us at all. Everything about it is deliberate: the steering, the brakes, the way it changes direction.

Note the mileage before you plan a big day out. The GT3 includes 100 miles, so a Leavenworth round trip needs a conversation first rather than a surprise afterwards.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

$2,295/day

518 hp · 0–60 in 3.0 sec · 150 miles included · $1,000 refundable deposit

The most extreme car we own and the top of the Porsche rental range in Seattle. Porsche found the extra 16 hp over the GT3 largely through new camshafts, then built an aerodynamics package around it that is closer to a race car than a road car.

Rent it for a specific day you will remember, not for a week of errands. It includes 150 miles, fifty more than the GT3.

Horsepower and acceleration figures for the GT cars are Porsche’s own, from the 718 Cayman GT4 RS launch release and the 911 GT3 RS world premiere. Rates, mileage and deposits are ours.

Porsche Rental in Seattle, on an Actual Racetrack

This is the part no other exotic rental in the Seattle area offers, and the reason our fleet looks the way it does. Most rental agreements forbid track use outright. We run the program ourselves at Pacific Raceways with ProFormance Racing School.

  • Novice clinic — $1,895 in the GT4, $2,495 in the GT3, $2,795 in the GT4 RS. Classroom, an instructor in the right seat, and real lapping. No experience needed.
  • Experienced lapping — from $1,195 an hour in the GT4, $1,495 in the GT3, $1,595 in the GT4 RS. Arrive and drive.

Car, helmet, coaching and insurance are included. Track drivers must be 25 or older, which is the one place our age policy differs from street rentals. Our GT3 track day guide walks through what a day actually looks like.

What a Porsche Rental in Seattle Requires

Less than most people expect. There is no membership, no application process and no waiting period.

  • A valid driver’s license and an age of 18 or older for street rentals, with no young-driver surcharge
  • Your own full-coverage policy, meaning comprehensive and collision — send us the details and we verify it for you
  • A refundable deposit of $500 or $1,000 depending on the car
  • Twenty-five or older if you are booking a track day

One Day Is Fine

Our minimum is a single day, and plenty of people book exactly one Saturday. Going longer? Ask about multi-day pricing when you call — it is not published, because it depends on the car and the dates.

Porsche Rental in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a Porsche in Seattle?

Between $495 and $2,295 a day depending on the car. A 911 Carrera is $495 with 200 miles, a 718 Cayman GT4 is $595 with 200, a Targa 4 GTS or GT4 RS is $895 with 150, the 911 GT3 is $995 with 100, and the GT3 RS is $2,295 with 150. Deposits are $500 or $1,000 and fully refundable.

How old do you have to be to rent a Porsche in Seattle?

Eighteen for street rentals, with a valid license and your own full-coverage insurance, and no young-driver surcharge. Track days are different because of the insurance behind them: drivers must be 25 or older.

Which Porsche should I rent first?

The 911 Carrera at $495. It is the most complete car in the fleet, the easiest to live with for a full day, and it includes 200 miles. Most people who start there come back for a GT car later knowing exactly what they want from it.

How many Porsches do you have?

Seven: the 911 Carrera, 718 Cayman GT4, Cayenne E-Hybrid, 911 Targa 4 GTS, 718 Cayman GT4 RS, 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS. Three of those are GT cars, which is more than the rest of the Seattle market has between them.

Can I take a rented Porsche on a racetrack?

Yes, and we are the only exotic rental in the Seattle area that allows it, because we run the program ourselves at Pacific Raceways with ProFormance Racing School. Novice clinics start at $1,895 and experienced lapping from $1,195 an hour. Drivers must be 25 or older.

Do you deliver a Porsche rental to Sea-Tac Airport?

Yes. We are about 30 minutes from Sea-Tac and we deliver to arriving travelers, tracking flights so a delay does not cost you the car. We also deliver across Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma and most of the Puget Sound.

Ready to book your Porsche rental in Seattle?

Tell us the date and what you have in mind, and we will tell you honestly which of the seven fits. Sometimes that answer is the $495 one.
