The McLaren 600LT Spider is the most exhilarating driving experience in our fleet. LT stands for “Long Tail”, which is McLaren’s moniker for its limited-run track versions of a road car. It weighs about 220 pounds less than the 570S because of carbon fiber body panels, thinner glass, lightweight carbon bucket seats and an exhaust so short it exits through the top of the rear deck.

The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 592 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. 0 to 60 takes 2.8 seconds. The three-piece hardtop folds in 15 seconds at up to 25 mph, so you can drop it at a stoplight and let everyone hear that V8 sitting right behind you.
